There are different variants of willow trees and shrubs that are growing in most continents other than Australia and Antarctica. Each capsule in this product is derived from the European willow, documented to have been used by the ancient Greek and Roman physicians to ease pain and reduce fevers. The bark of white willow contains salicin, which is a chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). In combination with the herb’s powerful anti-inflammatory plant compounds (called flavonoids), salicin is thought to be responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of the herb. When consumed, Salicin is metabolized into salicylic acid. Each bottle contains 50, 300mg capsules take some based on your pain level as needed. Use the following guide for adults: (Pain on a scale from 1 – 10)
Low Pain 1-3: Take 2 capsules
Medium Pain 4-7: Take 3 capsules
High Pain 8-10: Take 4 capsules
Not to exceed 1200mgs or 4 capsules in a 24-hour period.
